Monthly Giving to Support Nature Year-Round

On our Donate page, select your gift amount and then simply select “Giving Level Monthly” from the drop down menu to begin your year-round support of local conservation.

Plant-A-Tree

From purifying our air and providing oxygen, to filtering the water we drink, to affording habitat for wildlife, and so much more, it’s impossible to imagine a life without trees. These gentle giants are something we can’t live without and now you can help Berks Nature grow our future forests by donating to our Plant-A-Tree Campaign!

Each year, Berks Nature plants about 1,000 native trees at local parks, along streams, and in support of community conservation projects across the County.

Donations made to the Plant-A-Tree Campaign directly support these efforts by funding tree purchases, planting materials, and tree maintenance to ensure the long-term success of newly rooted trees.

For a minimum donation of $10 to the Plant-A-Tree Campaign, you will receive a sticker and a commemorative tree donation card to show our thanks, making this donation the perfect gift to share with friends and family. Donate to Plant-A-Tree in memory of loved ones or in honor of special occasions; Plant-A-Tree donations have become especially popular as a creative birthday gift, for example. It’s easier than ever to give a meaningful gift to the tree hugger in your life!

To donate to the Plant-A-Tree Campaign in memory of or in honor of a loved one, please visit The Nature Place Tuesdays through Saturdays between the hours of 10:00 am and 3:00 pm.

You can also contribute to the Plant-A-Tree Campaign online!

Adopt-A-Bee

Adopt a bee for yourself or give a bee as a gift! Berks Nature’s Adopt-a-Bee program is the perfect way to give the gift of nature and support local pollinators!

For each $20 donation to Berks Nature’s Adopt-a-Bee, you’ll go home with an adorable, hand-crocheted honey bee, created with love by local Berks County artist, Birchtree Creations. Plus, every Adopt-a-Bee donation directly supports The Nature Place’s pollinator, native, and teaching gardens.
Visit The Nature Place (575 Saint Bernardine St, Reading, PA) during our public hours to adopt a bee for yourself or the love bug in your life!

*Please note that the Plant-A-Tree Campaign is not the same as, or associated with, plant a tree memorial options often found on funeral home websites.
