It’s Your Day! Celebrate it with us at The Nature Place!

Get together at The Nature Place in our Wetlands or Pond classrooms or in the Rookery for larger groups.

Cost: 25 and under: $200 || 26 – 50 guests: $400

The birthday package includes guided nature play in our Nature Play Zone facilitated by a Berks Nature Environmental Educator. Explore our interpretive exhibits and Nature Store before and after your scheduled party time.

Bring your own selection of snacks, cake, or dessert. You can also conveniently order pizza from the restaurant down the street or other food options from one of our approved caterers. Dishes are provided, but you are welcome to bring themed cake plates and/or napkins.

Explorer Package

Cost: $2.50 per child

Package Options:

Creek Hike – Get knee-deep in the creek and meet the critters living there.
Animal Furs (good for younger kids): Learn about native animals by feeling their fur and exploring their skulls.
Trail Adventurer: Trek the trails of Angelica Creek Park.
Berks Nature Rocks: Get crafty and paint two rocks – one to take home and one to hide as a “kindness” stone somewhere in Angelica Creek Park.
Nature Scene Investigation (NSI): Explore the natural world with curiosity and wonder.
Nature Journaling: Create your own journal to record your thoughts and nature drawings.
Make a Splash – EnviroScape: Explore the interactive EnviroScape model and learn how to make a better tomorrow for our watersheds.
Something Looks Fishy! Create a fish pattern on a t-shirt to take home.

Scientist Package

Cost: $5.00 per child

Package Options:

Dissection Lab: Learn about birds of prey, dissect an owl pellet, and explore the great outdoors.
Mad Scientists: Participate in “mad science” in the classroom lab.
Geology Rocks: Identify minerals through the eyes of a geologist.

Adventurer Package

Cost: $10.00 per child ($100 minimum per program)

Package Options:

Archery (age 7+): Use your bow and arrow to hit the target!
Learn to Fish (age 7+): Borrow our fishing rods and cast away!
Creek Snorkeling (age 10+): Explore the world underneath the waters of Angelica Creek.
